It’s common for the standard rubber pipes fitted to these vehicles to expand under boost pressure causing lag, not only that but they are prone to fatigue and split over time. The ATI silicone hose upgrade completely replaces the factory rubber hoses with a wire reinforced silicone hose that wont fatigue and limits expansion under boost.
